Ca’ Pietra orders are processed promptly, with delivery typically taking 4–5 working days. Ca’ Pietra stone and tile products are dispatched from warehouses based in Wiltshire.

Delivery Charges: Small tile orders under 35 x 35cm and weighing less than 50kg can be sent via parcel delivery, with charges ranging from £19.55 to £51.75 including VAT. Pallet deliveries within Mainland UK are charged at £74.75 per pallet, with each pallet typically weighing up to approximately 1000kg. Deliveries to Scotland are charged at £131.10 per pallet. Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver Ca’ Pietra products to the Highlands and Islands.

Delivery Information: Larger deliveries are made using curtain-sided or panel rigid lorries equipped with tail lifts, while smaller orders are typically delivered by courier. Please advise us of any restricted access requirements before delivery so that suitable arrangements can be made. Deliveries are generally made to the nearest flat, hard-standing area adjacent to the property, usually at kerbside. Delivery drivers are unable to move goods inside the property, into garages, sheds, or outbuildings, and someone must be available to receive the delivery. Drivers are also unable to remove packaging materials or empty pallets. Once goods have been unloaded, responsibility for them passes to the customer. While we make every effort to meet agreed delivery dates and times, delays can occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond our control. We recommend ordering well in advance of your installation date. If access to the delivery address is not possible at the agreed time, re-delivery charges may apply.

Care Guide

Start cleaning the tilework when the grout is semi-dry within the joints. Use a large sponge soaked in clean water to avoid grout removal. Ensure continuous use of fresh water, employing appropriate trays and rollers for the sponge.

Gently employ circular motions to soften hardened grout film on tiles. Finish by diagonally sweeping the sponge across tiles while evenly applying water to prevent shade variations. Remove any lingering grout from tools with water before it hardens.

Direction

Prior to grouting the joints, ensure that tiles are correctly laid and securely anchored to the substrate. The substrate must be completely dry.

Follow the grouting guidelines outlined in BS 5385, parts 1-5, and adhere to the recommended waiting time specified in the adhesive product's data sheet. For mortar substrates, allow a minimum of 7 to 14 days, depending on factors such as screed thickness, ambient conditions, and substrate and covering absorption levels. The presence of water or moisture can lead to salt accumulation on the grout surface and uneven shading due to varying water evaporation rates.

make more concise: Joints should be void of excess adhesive, even if it has hardened, and must reach a uniform depth of at least 2/3 of the tile covering's total thickness to maintain consistent color.

In cases involving highly absorbent tiles or elevated temperatures, lightly dampen the tile surface before grouting to prevent water pooling.

Before using contrasting grout colors, ensure they can be effectively cleaned. It is advisable to conduct a preliminary test on unused tiles

Description

Ca' Pietra Resin Cement Tile Grout is suited for use in wall and floor tile joints of 1-20mm and is ideal where a narrow, fine-textured design is desired - such as bathrooms, pools and more. It's formulated with a water-repellent compound for enhanced durability and naturally anti-bacterial components that make for easy cleaning and maintenance. Moreover, its superior flexibility makes it suitable for underfloor heating and any environment subject to thermal shock and freezing. Please note, when using natural stone, we suggest lighter-coloured grouts to avoid staining the surface.
