Upon placing an order, items that are readily available in stock can typically be dispatched for delivery within 3-5 working days. For special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, specific bathware, and substantial orders, we recommend utilizing our specialized off-load vehicles, and estimated timeframes will be communicated prior to tile ordering. A designated delivery date will be tailored to your convenience.
Our delivery hours usually span from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding Bank Holidays. If required, there is an additional charge for securing a specific morning, afternoon, or timed delivery slot, if available. Most orders are packaged in wooden crates or on pallets, transported via large lorries. To facilitate a smooth delivery, kindly provide information about any potential obstacles, such as overhanging trees, steep inclines, or gravel driveways.
As per the driver's discretion, the consignment will be positioned at the nearest safe point accessible to the property, which might be on the driveway or at the kerbside.
Please note that the delivery driver is unable to assist with handling the goods. It is crucial for you to arrange for a responsible person to be present during the delivery. This individual should accept, sign for, and properly store the goods. Unfortunately, the driver cannot unpack products or relocate them beyond the delivery point. While your orders will be safeguarded with shrink wrapping, it's advisable to move the materials to a sheltered area swiftly and ensure that all accompanying products are stored in dry conditions to prevent damage from frost or rain.
Upon delivery, it is imperative to examine all orders for shortages, damages, or discrepancies. Any issues must be recorded on the delivery note and reported within three working days. This will facilitate prompt resolution. Failure to do so might invalidate subsequent claims for replacements or breakages. Your delivery might include extra or broken tiles beyond your ordered quantity. These are typically included to support the stability of other tiles and will be noted on your delivery note. Take care when unpacking stone tiles, as spacers might need to be removed from the packaging before lifting the tiles. For optimal storage, tiles should be vertically stacked (on edge) and not placed directly on a hard surface, as this minimizes the risk of unnecessary edge chipping.
